Our History
Daniel Rooney, Owner and CEO of Silver State DJ Company, got his intorduction to DJing while studying at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. in 1999.
After relocating to the Reno/Tahoe area to attend UNR, he began pursuing DJing as a full time career. He quickly became a staple in the west coast music scene. He further pursued his love of sound and event production and is currently a sound technician for Soulstice Sound and The Knitting Factory, Reno concert hall.

We come from a background of professional sound and event production. With over a decade of experience under our belts we have a deep understanding of what makes events successful.
